Lido di Camaiore:

Lido di Camaiore, with more than 4 km of fine sandy beach, from the beginning of the XX century is one of the most famous seaside resort in Italy. The real boom came after the II World War, when the Lido became the favourite destination of national and international tourism. Today Lido can offer you  everything you may need for a vacation of serenity and relaxation, enjoying also an excellent location for proximity to mountains and cities like Lucca, Pisa and Florence.

Getting there

By Car :

Coming from both the A11 (Firenze), as the A12/E80 (Genoa-Parma) North exit at Viareggio / Lido di Camaiore. As soon as you exit the highway, you will find a double roundabout, continue towards the sea on Viale Einaudi along a channel named "Fossa dell’Abate. " At the second traffic light, turn on the right (there is a bridge) on Viale Colombo. The B & B "La Zattera " stays at around 500 m on your right (The reference can be a great sign for the Hotel bordering called "Europe") at no 95.

 By Train:

 Viareggio is the nearest railway station where stop the most of the Intercity and Eurostar trains . To take the bus to Columbus Avenue in Lido di Camaiore, you have to cross diagonally the gardens opposite the station and turn right towards the road that borders the garden (Via L. Da Vinci). At the beginning of the road there is a bus stop . The bus to Lido di Camaiore passes to the minutes 15 and 45.
Near the B & B (in front of Piazza Lemmetti) the town council has set up a line of beach facilities.
